The Ministry of Education is seeking applications from qualified and experienced school leaders for the position of Director at a special boarding secondary school. This role is a permanent position with a salary based on the scale determined for the management of these schools.
Academic and Professional Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following academic and professional requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in secondary school leadership.
- A second degree or higher in school leadership.
- Certification in school leadership through a professional licensing and renewal program.
- A certificate of attendance from a special summer training program for teachers and school leaders.
- A certificate showing one year of on-the-job training for secondary school leaders.
- Basic knowledge and skills in technology.
Ethical Requirements
The ideal candidate should also demonstrate the following ethical standards and attributes:
- Respect for the values, culture, and language of the community to which they are assigned.
- Exemplary behavior.
- Freedom from any addictions.
- A clean criminal record, with the ability to provide evidence of this.
- The flexibility to work in the place and conditions assigned by the Ministry of Education.
