NAPHAD (Network of Charitable Associations of HIV Positive for Health and Development) is a non-governmental organization working to improve the well-being of people with HIV. The organization is seeking qualified and competent applicants for the “Epic at risk population project” to run a medium-cost share clinic in Humera Town.
1. Medical Doctor (GP)
Role Overview
The Medical Doctor (GP) is responsible for the diagnosis, prevention, and management of diseases. The role involves providing direct patient care and working with other health professionals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical examinations to assess patient health needs.
- Provide direct care to ill, injured, or disabled patients.
- Prescribe and interpret special tests.
- Administer medications and infusions.
- Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop and execute care plans.
- Document all investigation, treatment, plan, consultations, and progress.
- Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: Doctor of Medicine.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
2. Nurse
Role Overview
The Nurse will work under the supervision of a Medical Doctor to provide patient care and support health programs.
Responsibilities
- Listen to patients and analyze their physical and emotional needs.
- Communicate with patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans.
- Provide advice on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and recovery processes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Provide counseling and health care education to promote healthy lifestyles.
- Plan, mobilize, and conduct outreach for HIV testing services.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: BSc in Nursing.
- Experience: A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
3. Laboratory Technologist
Role Overview
The Laboratory Technologist will provide friendly laboratory services and ensure the proper handling of lab equipment and specimens.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly laboratory services related to integrated clinical services, including HTC, STI, ART, and RH services.
- Provide appropriate client care during specimen collection.
- Ensure all lab equipment and commodities are stored and handled per manufacturer guidelines.
- Follow stock balance of lab supplies regularly and report to the appropriate body for restocking.
- Ensure documentation is properly handled.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: BSc in Laboratory.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
4. Pharmacy Technologist
Role Overview
The Pharmacy Technologist is responsible for drug distribution and management, ensuring all pharmaceutical commodities are handled according to national and international standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform all necessary drug distribution as requested by the provider.
- Provide friendly pharmaceutical services.
- Provide appropriate drug information to clients related to drug side effects, adherence, and precautions.
- Request lab reagents and other commodities as per the set timeline.
- Collect the drugs from all necessary sources as demanded.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: BSc in Pharmacy.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
