The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is offering an internship opportunity for a Security Intern based in Addis Ababa. This role is designed for national applicants who are recent graduates or currently enrolled in a postgraduate program. The successful candidate will contribute to the security team’s operations, gaining practical experience within a major international organization.

Responsibilities
👉 Assist in the implementation and monitoring of security protocols and procedures.
👉 Support the preparation of security assessments and reports.
👉 Contribute to the organization of training sessions and briefings on security matters.
👉 Help with administrative tasks related to the security unit.
👉 Collaborate with other team members to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
👉 Must be a national of the country where the duty station is located.
👉 Enrolled in a postgraduate degree program (master’s or higher) or a recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in social studies, International Relations, Police Science, or a related field.
👉 No prior professional work experience is required.
👉 Strong communication and organizational skills.
👉 Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
