The Ethiopian Engineering Corporation is recruiting for the position of Scaffolding Engineer to join their team in Addis Ababa. This role is essential for ensuring the safety, structural integrity, and compliance of all scaffolding projects across various construction sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical design, safety assurance, and oversight of scaffolding operations.
Position :- Scaffolding Engineer
Core Responsibilities
The primary duties and functions of the Scaffolding Engineer will include:
👉 Developing technical designs and structural analyses for all scaffolding projects, often utilizing CAD software and conducting thorough site surveys.
👉 Ensuring that all scaffolding is designed and erected in strict accordance with relevant safety regulations and industry standards, including the Work at Height Regulations (WAHR) and Construction (Design and Management) (CDM) Regulations.
👉 Identifying and proactively mitigating potential hazards associated with scaffolding work, and developing effective control measures to minimize risks on site.
👉 Overseeing the safe and timely erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures, while coordinating closely with construction teams and clients.
👉 Providing essential technical advice and support on all scaffolding-related matters, serving as the main point of contact for scaffolding knowledge and product expertise.

👉 Education: An educational background in a related field of study with relevant work exposure.
👉 Experience: A minimum of 0 years up to a maximum of 1 year of relevant work experience. This role is open to recent graduates.
