Ethiopian Railway Corporation – Railway Institute Training Call Announcement
The Ethiopian Railway Corporation – Railway Institute is looking to recruit and train candidates who meet the entry requirements for the following Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs for the 2018 E.C. (Ethiopian Calendar) academic year. These programs have been licensed by the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia’s Education and Training Authority and the Ministry of Transport and Logistics.
Available Training Programs
- ⚡️ Train Driving (Level 2 to Level 5)
- ⚡️ Rolling Stock Electrical & Electronics System Maintenance (Level 2 to Level 5)
- ⚡️ Railway Signal & Communication System Installation and Maintenance (Level 1 to Level 5)
Registration Requirements
➠ Must be able to present the passing score for the 12th Grade Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) entry examination, according to the Ministry of Labor and Skills criteria. ➠ Individuals who have completed the former 10th/12th Grade or higher, and who meet the general entry requirements. ➠ Age must be 18 years and above.

Special Requirement for Train Driving Profession Only
➠ Health and Physical Fitness: Must be able to provide a valid medical fitness certificate confirming good eyesight, hearing, and overall physical ability.
Required Documents for Registration
➠ Original and photocopy of the 10th Grade/12th Grade Completion Certificate or equivalent Level 1 TVET Certificate (for applicants applying to training programs specified in serial numbers (1) and (2)). ➠ Original and photocopy of the 10th Grade/12th Grade Completion Certificate (for the training program specified in serial number (3)). ➠ Digital / National or Kebele ID card. ➠ Four (4) recent passport-size photographs.
Important Notice
📌 All training programs will follow the National TVET Curriculum approved by the Ministry of Labor and Skills.
