Tsehay Insurance S.C. is inviting applications for the position of Claims Officer III to be based at its Head Office in Addis Ababa. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the processing and management of insurance claims, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in line with company policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
The primary duties of the Claims Officer III will include:
➠ Processing, investigating, and settling claims from policyholders in accordance with established procedures and policy terms.
➠ Analyzing documentation, reports, and evidence related to insurance claims to determine liability and extent of coverage.
➠ Communicating effectively with clients, internal departments, and external parties such as adjusters, garages, and medical providers.
➠ Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all claim activities and transactions using appropriate systems.
➠ Ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines and company standards throughout the claims handling process.
Required Qualifications and Experience
➠ Education: Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Engineering, Statistics, or a closely related field.
➠ Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience within the insurance sector.
➠ Essential Skill: Proficiency in Basic Computer Applications.
➠ Required Number: One (1)
