Head of Marketing – Wegagen Capital Investment Bank
Wegagen Capital Investment Bank is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Marketing to join the team at their Head Office. This role is crucial for establishing the bank’s brand in the nascent Ethiopian capital market and driving all strategic marketing and communication efforts.
Core Requirements and Qualifications
Education & Professional Experience
👉 Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a closely related field.
👉 Preferred Education: An MBA or Master’s Degree in a relevant field is highly preferred.
👉 Experience: A minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience.
👉 Supervisory Experience: At least 3 years of the total experience must have been spent in a supervisory or senior leadership role within marketing or communications.
Key Competencies
👉 Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing and communication strategies.
👉 Strong understanding of the financial services or investment banking sector is highly advantageous.
👉 Expertise in brand development, digital marketing, public relations, and content strategy.
👉 Exceptional leadership and communication skills to manage a team and engage with executive leadership.
