Positive Action for Development (PAD) is seeking talented and motivated individuals to join their team as a Junior Monitoring, Evaluation, Research & Learning (MERL) Intern. This role offers an opportunity for a fresh graduate to gain practical experience and contribute to the accuracy and effectiveness of project monitoring and reporting processes.
Role Overview
The Junior MERL Intern will provide essential support to the MERL team by assisting with data management, reporting, and performance review activities. The intern will focus on ensuring the quality and completeness of project documentation and summarizing key field findings for internal review.
Key Responsibilities
👉 Assist the team in reviewing daily and weekly project plans and corresponding reports to ensure standards of accuracy and completeness are met.
👉 Extract, synthesize, and summarize critical information from field submissions, including key achievements, lessons learned, good practices, identified challenges, and proposed solutions.
👉 Provide support to the performance review processes by accurately compiling and organizing relevant project data.
👉 Compare current progress metrics against established project plans and targets to aid in performance analysis.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in Statistics, Economics, Development Economics, Agricultural Economics, Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, or a closely related field of study.
- Experience: Minimum of zero (0) years of experience. This position is suitable for fresh graduates.
