Afran General Hospital is currently seeking two qualified and dedicated individuals to join its technical team as Information Technology Officers. This position is based at the hospital’s facility located near Ayertena Square. The role is designed for entry-level professionals who are looking to apply their technical knowledge in a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
While specific daily tasks will be directed by the hospital administration, the Information Technology Officer is generally expected to handle the following:
👉 Maintaining and troubleshooting the hospital’s computer systems and network infrastructure.
👉 Providing technical assistance and support to medical and administrative staff regarding software and hardware issues.
👉 Ensuring the security, confidentiality, and integrity of hospital data and patient records.
👉 Assisting in the installation, configuration, and update of various medical and office applications.
👉 Monitoring system performance and performing regular backups to prevent data loss.
👉 Managing hardware inventory, including computers, printers, and peripheral devices.
Requirements and Qualifications
Candidates interested in this position must meet the following criteria:
👉 A Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is required.
👉 This is an entry-level position; candidates with 0+ years of experience are encouraged to apply.
👉 Strong understanding of networking, system administration, and hardware maintenance.
👉 Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a clinical setting.
👉 Good communication skills to effectively assist non-technical staff members.
