Nib Insurance Company invites qualified applicants for the following positions.
Nib Insurance Company (NIC) was established by 658 shareholders with an authorized capital of Birr 50.0 million and a paid-up capital of Birr 14.0 million in May 02, 2002, with 4 branches in Addis Ababa and a total staff size of more than 50.
Currently, the paid-up capital has reached Birr 250 million and the number of shareholders increased to 1,014. NIC provides both General (Non-Life) Insurance and Life Assurance services to its clients.
Open Positions
Position 1: 📋 Claims Officer II
Requirements & Qualifications
👉 Education: BA/BSc Degree in Banking & Insurance, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
👉 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Claims Officer I, Underwriting Officer I, or in a comparable insurance role.
👉 Grade: IV
Position 2: ✍️ Underwriting Officer II
Requirements & Qualifications
👉 Education: BA/BSc Degree in Banking & Insurance, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
👉 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Underwriting Officer I, Claims Officer I, or in a similar professional capacity.
👉 Grade: VI
Position 3: 🏛️ Contact Office Head
Requirements & Qualifications
👉 Education: BA/BSc Degree in Banking & Insurance, Management, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
👉 Experience: A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, of which at least 2 years must be at the level of Underwriting Officer II, Claims Officer II, or a similar position.
👉 Grade: VII
