Job Overview
Defense Construction Materials Production Enterprise is seeking a Junior General Mechanic to support routine maintenance and basic repair activities of mechanical systems and equipment. The role is suitable for entry-level candidates and recent graduates who are interested in building practical experience in mechanical maintenance within an industrial environment.
The position involves working under supervision to ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
👉 Perform routine mechanical maintenance tasks such as lubrication, oil changes, tire servicing, and fluid inspections
👉 Assist in identifying mechanical faults and signs of wear in machinery and vehicles
👉 Support senior mechanics in repairing engines, brake systems, batteries, and related components
👉 Follow safety regulations and standard operating procedures during all maintenance activities
👉 Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
👉 Report major mechanical issues to supervisors and assist with corrective actions
Educational Requirements
👉 TVET Level 4 certification in General Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related technical field
Experience
👉 Prior work experience is an advantage but not required
👉 Suitable for fresh graduates and entry-level candidates
Required Skills and Competencies
👉 Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance practices
👉 Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision
👉 Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
👉 Physical fitness to perform mechanical tasks and operate equipment
