Amhara Bank S.C. is inviting applications from qualified and experienced professionals for senior-level positions at its Head Office in Addis Ababa. The bank is expanding its leadership team to support its growth in interest-free and international banking services.

Position 1: Chief Interest Free Banking Business Officer
Requirements:
👉 First degree or higher from a recognized higher learning institution
👉 Minimum of 10 years of relevant banking experience
👉 At least 4 years of experience at Department Manager or Director level in Interest-Free Banking
Position 2: Deputy Chief International Banking Officer
Requirements:
👉 First degree or higher from a recognized higher learning institution
👉 Minimum of 10 years of relevant banking experience
👉 At least 4 years of experience at Department Manager or Director level in International Banking
Key Responsibilities
👉 Lead and manage banking operations within the assigned division
👉 Develop and implement strategic plans and policies
👉 Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards
👉 Oversee performance, reporting, and risk management activities
👉 Coordinate with senior management to achieve organizational goals
👉 Provide leadership and guidance to departmental teams
Qualifications
👉 Advanced knowledge of banking operations and financial services
👉 Strong leadership and decision-making skills
👉 Experience in managing teams at a senior level
👉 Excellent communication and strategic planning abilities
