Recruitment Notice for Health Professionals

Location: Guji District, Oromia

Role Overview:

The Guji District Health Office is seeking to recruit a number of qualified Health Professionals to work in various health stations and hospitals within the district. These positions are permanent and offer a salary based on the approved government scale.

Open Positions and Required Quantities:

  • Anesthesia BSc: 3 positions.
  • Biomedical Engineering BSc: 4 positions.
  • Radiology BSc: 6 positions.
  • Health Information BSc: 8 positions.
  • Dental Science BSc: 5 positions.
  • Ophalmic Nurse Practitioner: 5 positions.
  • Optomery BSc: 4 positions.
  • Midwifery BSc: 4 positions.

General Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: Applicants must submit their original educational certificate and a non-returnable copy.
  • Professional License: A professional license that was received or renewed in April 2015 is required.
  • COC Certificate: All applicants for Level IV and Diploma Level positions must submit a COC certificate that has been certified by a recognized body.
  • Language Skills: Candidates should be able to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Work Experience: Graduates from April 2015 until the date of this notice, who have been working in private health facilities, should submit proof of their work experience and tax payment from the Revenue Office.
  • Unemployment Certificate: An unemployment certificate of less than six months from an authorized body must be submitted.

Application Details:

  • Registration Period: Registration will take place for 10 consecutive working days during public working hours, starting from 28/12/2017 and ending on 09/01/2018 at 11:30.
  • Registration Place: Registration is to be done in person at the Guji District Health Office, Training and Human Resource Management Directorate Division.
  • Registration Rules: 👉 Candidates can only register in one district; registration in more than one will result in cancellation.
  • Examination: A written examination will be given. Candidates must score 50% or above to pass and must be willing to go to their assigned place of work. The exact date of the examination will be announced in the future.
