Role Overview: Election Executive Coach/Trainer
The Ethiopian National Election Board (NEBE) is undertaking comprehensive preparatory activities for the upcoming 7th national election, including establishing a pool of qualified and professional trainers. This is an official call for individuals affiliated with higher education institutions and teachers’ training colleges in the Oromia and Somali regions to apply for the position of Election Executive Coach.
The NEBE is compiling a permanent database of trainers who will be responsible for conducting training sessions for election executives at various administrative levels. Successful candidates will be selected based on rigorous pre-recruitment criteria, including written examinations and interviews, to verify qualifications and essential political neutrality.
Mandatory Recruitment Criteria
Applicants must satisfy the following essential criteria to be considered for the coaching pool:
👉 Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Social Science field.
👉 Must not be a member of any political party, demonstrating a strong capacity to deliver training with complete neutrality.
👉 Possess high leadership ability suitable for fulfilling the responsibilities of the role.
👉 Must be capable of upholding high professional ethics and ensuring the security and integrity of the training process.
👉 Have adequate practical experience in organizing and delivering training and workshops.
👉 Demonstrate effective communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate ideas and engage constructively with the ideas of others.
👉 Be proficient in, or have the ability to quickly gain proficiency in, the regional language used in the training location.
👉 Be prepared to attend training and subsequent training centers within the regional zone of residence.
