Yonatan BT Furniture is seeking to recruit three Junior Accountants to join its finance department in Addis Ababa. This entry-level position is crucial for maintaining the accuracy of the company’s financial records. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, including transaction recording, reconciliation, and assistance in preparing key financial statements.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
👉 Prepare entries for asset, liability, and capital accounts by compiling and analyzing account information.
👉 Record all financial transactions accurately by entering account information into the system.
👉 Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account data.
👉 Assist in the preparation of fundamental financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statements, and Cash Flow Reports.
👉 Audit and verify financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with established policies and regulations.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance or a similar field of study is required.
Experience
A minimum of 0 years of relevant work experience is required, making this suitable for recent graduates.
Requirements
👉 Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
👉 Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel is an asset.
