About the Role

The Engineering Corporation of Oromia is seeking an experienced Livelihood Restoration Plan (LRP) Expert to support the preparation, review, and implementation of livelihood restoration and resettlement action plans. The position requires a professional with extensive expertise in socio-economic assessment, compensation planning, and community livelihood restoration strategies.


Key Responsibilities

👉 Lead the design, assessment, and implementation of Livelihood Restoration Plans and Resettlement Action Plans (RAP).
👉 Conduct socio-economic baseline studies and impact assessments related to project-affected communities.
👉 Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with national and international safeguard standards.
👉 Prepare technical reports, policy recommendations, and documentation on LRP progress and results.
👉 Provide expert input to ensure sustainable livelihood outcomes for resettled and affected households.


Qualifications and Experience

👉 Education: MSc or PhD in Economics, Public Financial Management, or related disciplines.
👉 Experience: Minimum of 10 years for MSc holders or 8 years for PhD holders.
👉 Proven experience in Livelihood Restoration Planning and Resettlement Action Plan development and implementation.
👉 Strong analytical, coordination, and report-writing skills.

👉 Salary: Based on negotiation and qualifications
