Role Overview
​The National Elections Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) is seeking motivated graduates to join the Citizen and Voter Education (CVE) Department as Trainees. This position is a foundational role intended to support the essential functions of voter information dissemination and education planning across various regional offices. Successful candidates will gain practical experience in an electoral management body and contribute to the successful execution of educational programs leading up to and during election processes.

Number of Positions Available: 16
📍Place of Work:
​This position is available in the following regions/cities, with the required number of personnel spread across these locations:
​Afar Region,Somali Region, ​Dire Dawa City Administration, ​Benishangul-Gumuz Region
Tigray Region, ​South West Ethiopia Peoples’ Region & Central Ethiopia Region
​Key Responsibilities
​The Trainee will work under the guidance of senior staff to support the day-to-day operations of the Citizen and Voter Education Department. Core responsibilities include:
​👉 Assisting in the formulation, planning, and execution of various Citizen and Voter Education initiatives.
👉 Providing essential logistical and administrative support to the team, particularly during intensive election preparation periods.
👉 Maintaining accurate records and comprehensive documentation of all completed CVE activities and tasks.
👉 Preparing and submitting timely, structured, and regular operational reports to the designated monitoring unit.
​Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum Experience
​0 years of professional work experience. This role is suitable for recent graduates.
​Required Educational Level: 📚
​A Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc) in one of the following fields of study is required:
​Law, ​Civic Education, Adult Education, Political Science & ​A closely related or relevant field.
