Finance Officer – International Rescue Committee (IRC)
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is looking for a dedicated and meticulous Finance Officer to join their team in Assosa. This role is crucial for supporting the financial operations, compliance, and reporting requirements of the Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance (MPCA) project, ensuring all fiscal activities adhere to IRC and donor policies.
Role Overview
This is an office-based, junior-level (1–3 years experience range) position focused on transactional processing, financial documentation, and supporting overall budget compliance within the Assosa field office structure.
Requirements and Qualifications
Educational Background: 👉 BA or MBA Degree in Accounting, Business Management, or a closely related field.
Experience:
👉 A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
👉 Previous experience working within a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) environment is strongly preferred.
Skills and Attributes:
👉 Strong technical proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
👉 Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
👉 Proven ability to handle financial data with confidentiality and accuracy.
