Graduate Trainee (Interest-Free Banking – IFB)
Wegagen Bank S.C. is inviting motivated and qualified recent university graduates to apply for the position of Graduate Trainee within its Interest-Free Banking (IFB) division. This is an entry-level opportunity designed to develop future banking professionals who are grounded in the principles of Shari’ah-compliant financial operations.
Job Purpose and Role Overview
The primary purpose of this role is to provide foundational support for the bank’s effective service delivery to customers. The Graduate Trainee will learn and apply core banking processes, ensuring all customers are served efficiently and with the due care required under the IFB framework.
Key Requirements and Qualifications
Educational Background: 👉 Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Banking and Finance, Marketing, or any other banking business-related field.
👉 Must have a cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 2.75 and above.
Experience and Eligibility:
👉 This position is open exclusively to 2024 and 2025 graduates.
👉 Work experience is not required for this role.
👉 Must be under 25 years of age.
👉 Applicants must have achieved an Exit Exam result of 50 or greater.
👉 A COC (Certificate of Competency) for Level IV is mandatory if applicable.
Mandatory IFB Knowledge: 👉 Demonstrated knowledge of Shari’ah law and principles pertaining to Interest-Free Banking operation is required and compulsory.
