Job Title: Emergency Medical Technician/Nurse
Role Overview:
The Ethiopian Red Cross Society’s Central Gondar Branch, in collaboration with the Norwegian Red Cross, is seeking two qualified and dedicated individuals for the position of Emergency Medical Technician/Nurse. The role involves providing emergency medical services in the Gondar and West Belesa Woreda regions.
Key Responsibilities:
👉 Provide emergency medical care and support to individuals in need.
👉 Assist with medical triage and transportation of patients to health facilities.
👉 Participate in community health initiatives and educational programs.
👉 Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of medical activities.
👉 Collaborate with healthcare teams and community-based organizations for better service delivery.
Qualifications and Requirements:
👉 Educational Qualification: First Degree in Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Nursing.
👉 Additional Training: Certification in SAF, MPHSS, and HCiD is considered an asset.
👉 Experience: No prior work experience required. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
👉 Other Requirements: Strong communication skills and ability to work in challenging environments.
