Available Positions
1. Public Bus Driver
Grade: VIII
Salary: 18,266 ETB
👉 Completion of Grade 6 with a 5th-grade dry freight or public bus license, or Grade 8 with a 4th-grade license (Public 3)
👉 Minimum 5 years of relevant driving experience in the transport sector
👉 Valid public bus driving license required
👉 Age must be 55 years or below
2. Mechanic II
Grade: VI
Quantity: 1
Salary: 12,159 ETB
👉 10+1 or Level II in Automotive Technology or related field from a recognized TVET institution
👉 0–4 years of relevant experience depending on qualification level
3. Assistant
Grade: II
Quantity: 1
Salary: 4,960 ETB
👉 Completion of Grade 8 or Grade 10
👉 0–2 years of relevant experience
Role Overview
The roles involve supporting public transport services through driving operations, vehicle maintenance, and general assistance tasks. Selected candidates will contribute to efficient and safe transport service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
👉 Operate public buses safely and in compliance with regulations (Driver role)
👉 Perform vehicle maintenance and repair tasks (Mechanic role)
👉 Provide general support and assist operational activities (Assistant role)
👉 Ensure adherence to organizational procedures and safety standards
👉 Maintain proper records and documentation
Qualifications
👉 Relevant educational background as specified per position
👉 Required licenses and certifications (for Driver role)
👉 Relevant work experience depending on position
👉 Ability to work in a structured operational environment
