A company based in Addis Ababa is seeking a qualified and experienced professional for the position of Executive Assistant to the CEO. The role involves providing senior-level administrative and operational support to the Chief Executive Officer while ensuring the smooth coordination of executive office activities.

The position is offered on a full-time fixed-term basis and is open to local applicants only.

Role Overview

The Executive Assistant will support the CEO in managing daily administrative operations, coordinating executive communications, and handling organizational priorities. The position requires a highly organized individual capable of working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

The successful candidate will also act as a liaison between the CEO and both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and timely follow-up on strategic and operational matters.

Key Responsibilities

👉 Manage the CEO’s schedule, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.

👉 Coordinate executive communications and correspondence.

👉 Prepare reports, meeting notes, presentations, and official documents.

👉 Facilitate communication between the CEO and internal departments or external stakeholders.

👉 Monitor follow-up actions related to strategic initiatives and operational priorities.

👉 Organize meetings and ensure proper documentation and follow-up.

👉 Maintain confidential records and sensitive organizational information.

👉 Support the smooth day-to-day functioning of the CEO’s office.

Qualifications and Requirements

👉 Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

👉 4–6 years of relevant experience as an Executive Assistant or Senior Administrative Assistant.

👉 Prior experience supporting a CEO or other senior executives is preferred.

👉 Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Amharic.

👉 Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and email communication tools.

👉 Excellent organizational and stakeholder management abilities.

👉 High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

👉 Ability to manage multiple assignments and work under pressure.
