Role Overview
The Accountant will support the organization’s financial management activities by maintaining financial records, preparing reports, monitoring transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting procedures and standards.
Key Responsibilities
👉 Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation
👉 Process financial transactions and ensure proper recording of expenditures and revenues
👉 Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules
👉 Assist in budget monitoring and financial analysis
👉 Ensure compliance with organizational financial policies and procedures
👉 Support audits and financial review activities
👉 Utilize accounting software for financial management and reporting
Qualifications
Education
👉 First Degree or Second Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Finance, or a related field
Experience
👉 Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience for Second Degree holders
👉 Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience for First Degree holders
Additional Requirements
👉 Training in accounting software applications
👉 Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
👉 Good analytical and organizational skills
👉 Ability to work effectively in a professional environment
