Nib Insurance Company (S.C) has announced several employment opportunities for qualified professionals in management, finance, auditing, and procurement positions. The vacancies are based at the company’s Head Office in Addis Ababa and are offered on a permanent basis following successful completion of the probation period.

The company is seeking experienced and competent candidates who can contribute to operational efficiency, financial management, and branch leadership functions.

Available Positions


1. Branch Manager IV (Grade XI)

Qualification and Experience

👉 BA Degree in Banking & Insurance, Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.

👉 Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience.

👉 At least 1 year of experience as Branch Manager III or in a comparable managerial role.

Role Overview

The Branch Manager IV will oversee branch operations, manage staff performance, strengthen customer service delivery, and ensure business targets and compliance standards are achieved.


2. Investment and Shareholders Accounts Division Head (Grade X)

Qualification and Experience

👉 BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Management, or related fields.

👉 Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.

👉 At least 3 years of experience as a Senior Investment Officer, Senior Accountant, or in related investment management areas.

Role Overview

The position involves supervising investment activities, monitoring shareholder accounts, preparing financial reports, and supporting financial planning and compliance functions.


3. Branch Manager III (Grade X)

Qualification and Experience

👉 BA/BSc Degree in Banking & Insurance, Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.

👉 Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience.

👉 At least 1 year of service as Branch Manager II or in an equivalent role.

Role Overview

The Branch Manager III will be responsible for branch administration, operational management, customer relationship development, and achievement of business objectives.


4. Branch Manager I (Grade VIII)

Qualification and Experience

👉 BA/BSc Degree in Banking & Insurance, Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.

👉 Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.

👉 Experience must include either:

  • 2 years as Senior Underwriting Officer or Senior Claims Officer, or
  • 1 year as Contact Office Head.

Role Overview

The role focuses on branch supervision, operational coordination, client service management, and ensuring compliance with company procedures.


5. Auditor II (Grade VII)

Qualification and Experience

👉 BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, or Management.

👉 Minimum of 4 years of relevant auditing or accounting experience.

👉 At least 2 years of experience as Auditor I or in a similar auditing position.

Role Overview

The Auditor II will conduct internal audits, review financial and operational activities, identify risks, and prepare audit findings and recommendations for management.


6. Junior Procurement Officer (Grade IV)

Qualification and Experience

👉 Level IV Diploma with COC in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Management, Accounting, or related fields.

👉 Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

Role Overview

The Junior Procurement Officer will support procurement operations, supplier coordination, inventory management, and purchasing documentation processes.
