Role Overview
The Branch Manager I is responsible for overseeing branch operations, ensuring service quality, managing staff performance, and supporting the achievement of business objectives while maintaining compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications
👉 BA Degree in Accounting & Finance, Banking & Finance, Management, Marketing Management, or a related field from a recognized higher learning institution
Experience
👉 Minimum of 7 years of relevant banking experience
👉 At least 2 years of service in a supervisory position
Key Responsibilities
👉 Manage and supervise daily branch operations
👉 Ensure compliance with banking policies and regulatory requirements
👉 Lead branch staff and monitor performance
👉 Support customer relationship management and business growth
👉 Monitor operational risks and internal controls
Position 2: Principal Research and Development Officer
Work Location
👉 Head Office, Addis Ababa
Role Overview
The Principal Research and Development Officer will support the bank’s strategic initiatives by conducting research, analyzing industry trends, and contributing to the development of new products, services, and operational improvements.
Qualifications
👉 BA Degree in Accounting & Finance, Banking & Finance, Management, Marketing Management, or a related field from a recognized higher learning institution
Experience
👉 Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
👉 At least 2 years of service as a Senior Research and Development Officer
Key Responsibilities
👉 Conduct market and industry research
👉 Analyze banking trends and business opportunities
👉 Support product and service development initiatives
👉 Prepare research reports and recommendations
👉 Contribute to strategic planning and organizational development activities
